Well, today my blackcap basslet came out of government quarantine and he is now sitting behind a rock. He has awesome colours

Also picked up a rock covered in polyps which I think might be small zoanthids. It looks like I have three different varieties. All have a blue base:

blue base brown polyp

blue base black/fluorescent orange

blue base brown/fluorescent blue polyp

Awesome Unleashed!! Blackcaps are amazing fish!! I had one until the hurricanes wiped out the tank. But what a stunning fish and with weird behavior too. Do not be surprised if your fish is swimming upside down in the rocks or caves! :ezpi_wink1:

unfortunately the blackcap is a bit photo shy at the moment.

Pics don't do him justice. He has a neon stripe coming off each eye and neon stripes all over his gills. Also has two neon stripes along his extended anal fin with a bit of purple in between them
