I recently bought some cories which are supposed to be be bronze. After looking at them for over a day in my tank, I feel like it's possible that they are really orange laser cory and not bronze. Some are large and I'm guessing more adult which may be why the colors look like the orange laser. I also have a younger one that definitively looks like a bronze. The older ones appear differently to that one. Here are some pics. The first 3 are the bigger ones which I am not sure of. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170205/b18c986596fca034d2ef98f6ab60eeb9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170205/462f98731c77005de81426b9593abf4e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170205/1b6504c916547543505d819ddc0f2b70.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170205/1a6c984f2dec6dfb0080dd533003b6c3.jpg

He was picked on a bit so he is missing part of his fin. I'm hoping I can nurse him back and have his fin back to normal.

Thanks every. Glad I got bronze.

I concur as well that is a Bronze Cory.
Thumbs up for restoring the cory back to glory again.

Different type of bronze. Keep an eye on the finrot. Can be very progressive I've noticed.

I'd call them Gold Lasers (CW010).

When I bought them from TWS they were listed as Orange Laser Cory. I thought it also said CW010. You could be right, but whatever they are, that's what I have.

They are gorgeous, regardless of what you call them.

The phrase can change but that's why they use the # system :)

"CW010 from Peru commonly known as the "Gold Laser" (sometimes referred to as the Orange laser)"

But then sometimes I see "Orange Laser CW023", it is very confusing when there are even different #s for the same names. I think that some places must use them interchangeably even if it is not correct.

I would love some of these to go against my light colored substrate. they would look great along with my Dupes, too.

I just found the order slip. They were listed as "Laser Orange Cory WILD (Corydoras sp. CW010) 1.5"+ ".

I don't remember how they were listed at the time I bought them.
Probably as Black Venezuela, but the right name is C.schultzei "black"

I was referring to the Lasers. I do not have the schultzei but I would love to.
