Anyone have these? I was wondering if anyone know if you can hang mount these lights?

I'd like to try one, but the pricing is still too rich for me.

I'm sure you could hang one, but why would you?

I had a minor brain fart. Planning on a 72 inch tank, I would just get 2 36 inch lights cause they only go up to 60 inches

I bet a single 60" would be fine, I mean for a 6 foot tank, you are only missing 6" of lighting on each end

Yeah you are probably right. It will have a glass top so it doesn't matter. During my brain fart I was thinking "how will it fit the rim of the tank?"

I see what you mean...this is a huge tank, what are your plans for it?

I'm not sure how many tank mates I can have with it in a tank that size.

How many gallons?

It will be 125 gal. I know it seems like a waste but I really want an Oscar.

I have a 20gal Long I am planning to have some schooling fish in.

Not a waste at all, if that is what you really want.

It's YOUR tank, after all :22:

Thanks Matt. I'm looking forward to another tank, it would be our 5th tank with water in it, we have 2 tens and a 5 that are in our garage. We stocked up during the last $ a gallon sale.

Yeah looking forward to it, probably start it at the same time as the big one. Will be here looking for stocking advice.

I have two of those lights. Love them. Hanging them might not be a bad idea. They sit really close to the water and on my 40 breeder the light doesn't reach the front or back very well. I find myself moving the light forward and backward every day or two to try and give all my plants equal light.
