I have access to rainbows through a coworker I'm wondering about how many would fit in a 40B? Also will they coexist with smaller characins like neons?

Should be fine with 6 or 8 of them in a 40B, heavily planted.

That is awesome cause those are/can be pricey. When I was setting the 75 up they were part of the original stocking, along with the threadfins, and the forktails or spotted blue-eyes. Can't wait to see what you do with the them and the tank.
