Is the tank cycled?

Welcome to the AC!
When you say the tank has been set up for a couple weeks, do you mean it is cycled?

Ahhh, ninja'ed by Matt!!

What's your ph in the tank, and from your tap?

Do you know the hardness of your water?

The pH is currently at 7.4 and yes it is tap water .... Hardness I am not sure about ... haven't checked for hardness ..!

Why not start a new thread in the "Aquarium Journal" section of the forum...give us some details on how you cycled, which test kit you use, water conditioner, filter(s), etc.

You'll get much better stocking advice there than here in the Introduction thread.

How did you cycle the tank in 2 weeks?

How are you maintaining the cycle without fish?

What liquid test kit do you own?

We would need water parameters, which is available in your water quality report, if you do not have the tests:

PH ( you already provided this)
general hardness (GH or gsp)
KH (buffering capacity)
TDS (total dissolved solids, maybe available)

Rocksor asked questions that need to be answered. If your tank hasn't gone thru the nitrogen cycle, you aren't ready for fish. And I agree, starting a journal will get you the most answers.
