I have a few molly (balloon) i am trying to determine the sex. Can anyone help me ? :) ty

males are thinner and females are larger

You can tell the sex of the mollies by looking at their anal fins. Females will have a fan shaped one and males will have a pointed anal fin.

Yes, livebearer males have a modified anal fin called a gonopodium...while females have a 'regular' looking rounded anal fin...quite easy to tell apart, which makes it nice for sexing.

You should have 3-5 females per male.
