You can buy baby fish food or you can just crush up normal flake food very very fine and feed that

I just crush flake food until it is like a powder and feed that. Great results.

I think crushed flake is fine but I would say to try to feed a few different foods. For my platies I also crushed op a little algae waffer and they liked that. Hakari First Bites is also good. I have fed all these foods and they seem to work well.

There are several ways to feed your guppy frys.

Crushed dried fish flakes are fine but to be able to grow them fast in less time, live foods are the best. I feed my frys microworms instead of newly hatched brine shrimps for the simple fact that they are easily grown and practically cost you nothing except for buying the starter kit which is just below $7. But the $7 will go a long way and pays more than itself. You will never run out of fish food again.

Good luck.

I dampen crushed flake food to make a little slurry then mush it between my fingers under water. This makes a nice cloud of fry sized bits that floats into the floating plants where the fry hang out.
