I woke up today and now I can't find my little puffer fish, he was battling with the ick, and I think my goldfish might have eaten him because I looked for 20 minutes and cant find him anywhere, i even turned the ornaments over... and no puffer fish :(

I didn't know goldfish would eat another dead fish. Never thought about it, really, but guess they could.

goldfish will definately eat other dead fish. not exactly sure why you were keeping a puffer with a goldfish though. goldfish are coldwater fish and puffers are tropical.

I agree...no goldfish and puffers together!

He wasn't dead though, he had the ick really and he was getting better, I went to sleep, and now he's not there. He came with the tank so I dunno...

goldfish will pick on smaller fish, so it probably just at the puffer (if he was small enough to fit in his mouth) he could have just picked him to death and ate him too.

oh yea, what size tank is this anyway?

Maybe three inches long, but the lady I bought the tank from(it was her husbands) said she had him in there for 5 months... but I don't understand why the goldfish would eat it...I feed them a LOT, but the goldfish is pretty big itself

If you watch this video you can see the size of the goldfish

Those sharks are like 6 inches long so hopefully that will help you figure out how big they are.

well the goldfish is probably big enough to have done it. did you have the puffer in with those sharks too? Are those irridescent sharks? if so they get huge! and i thought they were tropical too, which like said before the goldfish are coldwater.

Puffer was only like two inches long, and those are ircandescent sharks. But im giving the fish to the local retirement home, because they have a small indoor pond.

a small indoor pond will not work for irridescent sharks! the goldfish will do ok in it though.

I found him:( He died and he was inside of one of the ornaments. He had the ick bad and hadnt eaten for like 5 or 6 days so I'm guessing thats why he died:( I guess he is in a better place now so he doesnt have to suffer.
