So......what are you guys having for the Superbowl today? At my house, we are have pulled Pork Sandwiches, pigs in a blanket, artichoke dip, bacon cheese dip, shrimp, pot stickers, and two kinds of wings.

Go Bronco's, so funny most of the experts are picking Carolina but those same people are pulling for Peyton ;-)

Burgers, wings, chips & dip, last but not least, beer. I like to keep it simple because it's about THE BRONCOS WINNING! :22:

There's nothing wrong with carrot and celery sticks. After all, you need some kind of finger-food to use as a transport mechanism to get the tasty dips to your mouth!

Gah, it'd be awesome...is there an air strip up there in the SN's?

YES, but it's only 100 yards long with goal posts at each end.

Plenty of room to spare...maybe for a helicopter!

Yes there is an airstrip here, when 911 happened there where a lot of commercial planes landed there :(

Lest we forget for whom the Superbowl trophy is named for, what a great man, had his faults like most of us but he "did it right" when it came to the game and his players.

We are having extremely low-effort food here; I am at that awkward stage in recovering from my cold where I have my appetite back, but I am still feeling tired and don't have much energy for cooking. It's going to be all store-bought, pre-prepared everything here tonight. Ah, well...that will make the family appreciate it more the next time they sit down to a home-cooked meal, right?

But that means I am living vicariously through you folks with great-sounding menus. Is anyone else making something special for the big game?

I don't know if Boundava will be having super bowl food (or even watching the game) but I can guarantee that she will be cooking something awesome just the same!

It was probably the best half-time show I've ever seen.

We had grilled, bacon-wrapped chicken tenders that were marinated in plum garlic Thai sauce (HEB makes that sauce and it rocks)

oh and we had chicken fajitas too.

Everyone's food sounds wonderful. It would be such fun to swing through one another's places for quick visits.

Yes, indeed....wasn't the best SB I've seen, but the outcome was splendid...

Until Peyton mentioned Buttweiser....

Yep; evidently he owns some distributorships and is getting crucified by the media for promoting Bud, that and kissing papa John :sconfused:
