We have 3 zebra danios (may get two more) and I'm wondering once the cycle is complete which fish we should add next. I want to make sure that the danios don't get harassed or eaten if possible. We were going to get Tiger Barbs, one Red Tailed Shark, 3 - 4 Pitcus Catfish and probably around 3 Blue or Gold Gourami. I read somewhere that you should put in the Barbs last as they are territorial. If we have to, we will see if the fish store will take back the danios once the cycle is complete (no refund). We just want to make sure that the danios aren't injured or killed by the other fish.

I have Three Zebra Danios (two are Leopard Danios, but the only difference is the pattern) in each of my ten gallon tanks and while I cannot speak for the particular species you are seeking, I know that they are fast swimming fish and fairly good at looking after themselves.
Mine have faired well with Dwarf Gouramis, Red Platys, and Otos (not all in the same tank.
Be prepared for the reality that even Zebra Danios are negatively affected by the cycling process, I lost a couple after my cycle completed because their immune systems were stressed too much. My second tank was cycled fishless so those Danios thrived and grew nice and healthy and much bigger.

put the fish that are the least aggresive in first...and then work your way up to the aggressive fish.
if you put the aggressive fish in first...then they will get a territory and hurt other fish that come near it and they will think that they rule the tank.
