We've noticed some white dots on the back glass of our tank. We were thinking it may be snail eggs, but in searching the forum maybe not...
any idea(s) what this could be?

either:
baby snails
feather duster worms
calcium deposits
plus numerous others

Probably spirorbid worms. Check and see if they are tiny little spirals. But Unleashed is right, it could be several things.

Thanks all...we're thinking calcium deposits as well, but will keep an eye on them.

that cyano bacteria picture is gross on the bottom of the page, whosever tank that is needs to research
anyway, its probably spirorbid worms or calcium deposits

I can think of at LEAST 10 different things they might be. However without pictures I really wouldn't feel comfortable giving any definative answers.
Are they moving around at all? If so they may be copepods.
If not, do they have arms? If so they may be tiny walking jellyfish or tiny starfish.
If not.....

if theyre coiled its the worms coach was talking about. i have a few myself. theyre harmless
