Red Slime Remover

So my LFS has a product that supposedly helps to remove red slime, she said she uses it in her tanks all the time....

Think its worth a go???

is it the red slime that you have all over the bottom of your SW tank????

i wouldnt use the product, it wont kill the main cause. only young tanks have the algae. do more water changes and add more flow via powerheads, i have powerheads allover my 55g and got no red algae in its early stages

I've used it in the past will no ill effect. This was in full blown reef tanks too (clams and corals). Just follow the directions completely, remove any carbon if you're using it, and stop your skimmer. Every time I have used this, the algae was gone in 2 days never to return.
