How bad is the sting of a black finned shark/catfish?

I have 2 black finned sharks/catfish and I have read to be careful because they can sting you not meaning to, but so far I have respected their space and not been stung luckily. Has anyone been stung by one of these and how bad did it hurt?

I've not been stabbed by a black finned shark specifically, but I have been by other types of catfish. Depending on the size of fish and where it gets you, it's not so bad. It feels sort of like a pin prick or a needle. Of course the bigger the fish, the worse it's going to feel.
If you ever do get stabbed by your fish make sure you immediately disinfect the wound. There are a lot of bacteria in the tank that can make the wound very bad very quick.
