I Have A Crashed Platy. This Is What Transpired. I Noticed He Was Bottom Sitting For About A Day Still Had A Little Appetite. Day Two Seperated From Other Fish In Small Aquarium Filled With Aquarium Water Added Aquarium Salt. Complete Loss Of Appetite No Bowel Movements For 6 Days Now. Tried To Feed Peas No Luck Appetite Gone. Fish Is Beggining To Swell.

those sound like the same symptoms that my male swordtail had and he died. I hav eno idea how but he just died...no sign of disease nothing.

someone else might beable to give you some more help though.

you should have left him in the tank he was just probably stress out moving him 2 a smaller tank could kill your platy

if any of my livebearer does not eat or move i leave it, it will recover on its own just feed normaly and do what you always do. as i have expirience myself dont move them if there is no sign of desease it will worsen their condition.

if you want 2 feed i suggest live food platy cant resist live brine shrimp.
