My platys have just had babies, do you think it could of been preparing for the babies to eat?
I am unsure as it was doing it before the birth, Do fish have a 6Th scence about it then?

Perhaps it just like it in there? It may be that it like the darkness especialy if it is the same tetra that go into the shipwereck every time, they do develop their own habits the fish do.

They are not watching their eggs. Neon tetras don't do that.
They might just be playing. Neons to light darkness as magickfish says.

I think it is just doing what it likes to do it is pos that scraps of food may be in there but some other fish will have spotted this if so!
