I found the company that makes them, but it doesn't even say what they are made of. Perhaps you can contact then directly and ask:

If you go to Dr Foster and Smith , it says they are resin-so they should be safe. However you may want to ask the manufacturer-or Dr. Foster and Smith if they are aquarium safe. Sometimes those decorations meant for terrariums do not work in Aquariums.

There ere some issues this morning, I couldn't even get onto the AC...and when I did, it was spotty at best

Don't worry about the duplicate posts, wasn't your fault

I had problems this am too and the site is still sluggish for me. Not sure if it's just me but doesn't seem to be a problem with other sites.

I've had the medium sized cave for a number of years, it was last used for a snake. I did find another forum that showed them being used in aquarium with success and it seems the fish really like them.

Just to be safe, I'd find a similar cave that you know is safe for aquarium use...they're not expensive, but well worth the peace of mind

I contacted exo terra and they said the caves are indeed, safe for freshwater aquarium use.

That's good, I figured they should as they are resin. So what type of fish are going to be using them? I only ask because I would worry abut the size of the openings if you had a larger pleco/or other fish that likes to hide in the tank.

It's actually for a crayfish, she is quickly outgrowing all the other hides I have.
