For the second time now, my angels have eggs. The last batch of babies did not survive. I just noticed that my angels are moving their eggs from one side of the tank to the other. They were on a column but now are moving them to a artificial plant leaf. Is this a common practice for angels?

Should I just use a sponge filter during this time?

Hmmm...I don't know much about angels, but I think I might leave things in the tank as they are, so you don't cause any undue stress...after all, they were comfortable enough to spawn again

Angels will move their eggs around.

Absolutely. They most often DO move their eggs, or wigglers, especially if they feel the new spot is a safer area for the young. They can move them several times.

Yes it is very common for angels to move the eggs around. If you want to keep them in the tank then I would suggest swapping to a sponge or at the very least a prefilter sponge on your intake of your filter. A fine mesh net or old pair of nylons over the tube works very well too. This will stop them from getting sucked up the filter.
