I am setting up a 125g All glass aquarium. It's 18 inches deep and 72 inches long. I will be using 2 Magnum 350 canister filters with bio-wheel attachments on the returns. (Already had them on 2 30g tanks). First off do you think this will be enough filtration? What is the best way to position the intake tubes? Should I put them both on one end and create a current pushing everything to that side, or should I split them and put one on each end, or maybe put both in the middle? All recommendations would be most appreciated.

On my tank(125 gallon 2 magnum 350s) I have an airstone bar at the very left of my tank(going front to back) then about a foot over I have one of the intakes and the outlet going towards the bar and the other intake is in the other corner with the outlet going to the left of the tank. It works well... i just stirred up some poo and other things that settle in the rocks when I was planting some plants and in like 5 minutes the water was clear again. w00t

Gobbles - do you feel you have ated filtration with the 2 Magnum 350's. I think I am on the edge. I plan to have cichlids and know they can produce alot of stuff.

That last entry should read adequate filtration. One day I will learn to type.

I feel as I do have good filtration... My fish produce a lot(and big) lengths of poopy so sometimes it wont get it all. My water is hardly ever cloudy, or has a lot of floating debris in it. The magnum 350 can be converted to a gravel sweeper as well, and doing that once every other week keeps my tank very clean and clear. I just added some plants to my tank and that seems to be helping to reduce the waste as well.

When it comes to filteration, the rule of thumb is to take the rating of the filter and divide it by half in order to figure out what size tank the filter is good for. The Magnum 350 is rated for a 100g tank, divided by half is 50g, you have two so you're only getting enough filteration for a 100g tank tank.

In regards to the placing of the intakes, I'd put one on each end around the corners and the return systems a little bit more towards the middle if you're using the biowheel adapter otherwise I'd put the return tubes in the corners as well to get some nice current going.
