So I bought 6 small neon tetras on monday as well as 4 medium sized bolivian rams. The gy said as he was baggind them up that the bolivians might eat the small neons. I though, pffft, yeah right dude.

Well, The neons kept disappearing until I was down to three. I thought to my self, Self, maybe this guy was right and you were wrong, perhaps the bolivians did in fact eat the tetras. And since I'm known to be wrong a lot, I just assumed the rams ate the neons.

Well, today I'm doing some filter maintenance, and when I;m done, I notice 5 neons swimming happily in my tank. What the hey? I guess they got sucked up the filter. Still looking for neon number 6 though. Weird.

that happens with small tetras sometimes. in february when i bought 4 glowlights, one disappeared. I still have the original other 3 though to this day

I think one of the survivors died. His fins had been choppped off by the impellor. Either that or he got sucked up into the filter. Guess it's time to get a prefilter...
