I Have a 26 gallon bow-front tank that is square. All of the nice tanks I've ever seen are rectangles. Now my delima is that I can't find anything that works in there without really crowding it.
Any advice is welcome. Its about 1.25 feet tall or so.
Ive seen driftwood used in square tanks. The kind thats sort of long but instead of laying it down a few peices are stood upright and then some plants and rocks are arranged in and around it...I will see if I can find pics b/cit turned out really nice looking.

I have a 30 gallon hex. And mine is about 2 1/2 foot tall. I would suggest going to a reputatable aquarium store and seek help from there plant specialist. When I did she had over 15 different plants that would work well in my tank. She spent about 30 minutes assisting me. Avoid getting advice from chain stores. Good luck.

Valisneria can be spread out as thin as you like along the edges. Same with bacopa monnieri. Choose your wood wisely - I wish mine was a bit smaller.
