another bolivian ram question

Well, they seem to have acclimated well. Some are gasping sorta, but for the most part, they seem okay. They are traveling the tank in a group, and they started eating.
My concern is that there are kinda like turquiose around their gill area, and one has a turquiose spot on his side. is this natural marking, or hole in the head? If it's hole in the head, how do I treat it?

i doubt that HITH would occur on them. HITH is from poor nutrition or bad water. HITH looks like puss filled indented holes between the eyes.

probably is natural.

the most prone fish i know to HITH are severums, oscars, and some angelfish.

lol, and i feel your relief, trust me, treating HITH is no fun. im glad my oscar hasnt got it ever, its a nasty disease
