Hey, I'm Setsuna.
I live in Victoria, Australia. My soon to be brother and sister in law bought me a tank as a house warming present.
I used to breed Betta Splendens (Siamese Fighters) in a cold water tank (the water had no heating, but the tank was kept in a warm room), and goldfish.
The tank is 29cm wide x 30cm long x 60cm high (approx 1' widex 1'long x 2'high). as I have no income at the moment, it hasnt been setup, however, I thought I would use this time to research the types of fish I'm wanting in it and work out how I want it to be setup.
So far I have decided I will have:
1 male Betta Sp.
2 Khulie Loaches
3 Hillstream Loaches (aka borneo suckers, butterfly loach)
1 African Butterfly fish
1 male Guppy
2 female Guppies
I am debating about whether I should get some platies, or more guppies but as I said, this tank is a while off getting setup, so I've got time to work things out.
I am aware of the Betta Sp. tendancy to aggresion, but in my experiance, I have never had a Betta attack a fish of a different species and vice versa.
Anyhow, I think I've rambled on enough ^_^
