Can someone tell me what kind of Pleco this is? I have 2 that are about 2" inches long. They told me at the LFS that they wouldn't get big & that's my concern. Hope you can tell by this pic.

Yea, i think its a clown pleco too, they don't get big, i think only 5-6in.

thats not a clown,see below pic for a clown.It could be a sailfin leopard or possibly just a common.

I agree, the clowns have more of a stripy pattern, that one is sort of spotted.

My first thought was Leopard for what it's worth. Since I refuse to keep them anymore I could be waaaay off...

it looks similar to my sailfin pleco but since im only new to plecos i dont know much. it definately isnt a clown pleco though as they are really stripey (at least mine is..... when i see it lol)

But look at its front fins, edged in like a goldish color, commons and sailfins dont have that.

I do see that gold on the fins but that looks like light glare possibly,check out this link i do believe its a winner.If it is Id say poster has a little eventual size problem:14:

With hundreds of L numbers it is really hard to tell....

I have a lepard pleco too!!! And it looks exactly like that!
