My Floating Betta

Hi
I am pretty new to bettas
I have had my betta now for 6 months and he is beautiful
I have recently put him in a BioORB tank and then added sum Guppies and other tropical fish including a female betta. At first he was not happy but settled nicely.
I changed his water about 4 days ago and got a treatment solution to ensure the water was fine.
In the last two days he has been swimming at the top all the time. And he has difficulty swimming downwards. As soon as he swims down he floats back Up. He is also not that active, his fins look freyed as well.

Sounds like he could have a problem with his swim bladder or perhaps he swallowed air. It might straighten itself out but I can't say for sure whats behind the problem.

I agree with william. Look up in your local phone book for a vet that specialises in fish. They should be able to help you further.
