Finally!!!!! I have been trying to breed these forever....
The shrimp are about 1mm. For reference they are on a piece of tropical hornwort...
CRS = Crystal Red Shrimp
Wow, VERY cool. Great job with the babies and with the great pictures!

Yes they are currently in a species only 5g and are getting ready to be upgraded to a 20L... Since these shrimp sell, on the low end, for around $10 each and upwards of $2000 each on the high end it makes me very very happy.

Honestly I had no idea I had ANY until this guy showed up with 3 of his buddies... They are so small and are in a heavily planted tank I just don't know... Like right this moment I can not find any of them, but there are a lot of plants where they could be hiding.

Congrats on the Red Cherry baby shrimps. I just added a few to my tank and they are really very interesting to watch. My son loves them :malelovies:

Kurly, sadly there are not Red cherry shrimps... they are Crystal Red Shrimps ;)... much different...
Tho CAF, Congrat ! you must be really proud of you on this one :D thumbs2:

oops, sorry. I got my C's and R's mixed up - lol. I re-read the post about them costing so much and thought whoa, that's A LOT of money to pay for Red Cherry Shrimps. As you can see I am VERY new to shrimps - lol.
Let's try this again.....Congrats on your CRYSTAL RED Shrimps.
BTW, I just saw my RED CHERRY Shrimps mating so maybe we'll have a few little Red Cherries running around our tank soon.
