I am so proud of my Jack. Ive only seen a couple as mottled as he. Like most of the time, I took at least 50 pics, and only this one was good. :)
But earlier in that day, JackE scratched the heck out of his face. I thought that would hurt my chance since I couldn't touch it up.

Funny you should ask. It was advertised and bought as Rio Tocantins, but I am really not quite convinced if that is what he is after all.

Any help identifying him would be greatly appreciated. I originally bought a pair, but the other one unfortunately did not live very long.

I thought a few might be avoiding that pic cause they, like I, thought it was
a Richard P. pic. lolWhy would someone not vote for a picture because they think it might belong to a particular person? People should be voting for what they believe to be the best picture, not for who they think took or didn't take the picture.
Once again I find myself not understanding the way people think and/or act. I hope Richard P (whoever that is) enters a picture in every photo comp next months and wins them all... That's how jealous and petty I am.

lol, mommy1, I'm sure it's because every photo he enters usually wins, because they're all magnificent. His photos are quite a lot like TallDutchie's... professional. ;P

"They were fair before and they were almost fair when you could win 1st every few months. Now, with only having to wait 1 month to re-enter, it will go to Talldutchie, then Richard Peche, then Cygnus, then Talldutchie, then Richard Peche, then Cygnus etc... And they will deserve every win they get because they have the best skills and camera, and I will vote for them most every month. Not that my opinion counts but, if those three could only win once a year, they would have already done so and it's possible you would have had more entries this month."

I found them, and I think you are correct, sir! mine doesn't have the bright white on the dorsal as much as some of the pics I've looked at, the white is there on the tail, but I'm pretty sure a Starlight is what I have....thanks!

No, actually the idea is to NOT know who took the pics...that's why you can't post a pic you plan on entering (I think) up to a month before the competition in another place, like a thread

That depends on the comp. POTM ranges anywheres from 5 to 12, APOTM about the same, and TOTM around 4
