My, how time flies when you are having fun! It was exactly one year ago today that I found a little website called Aquatic Community, and decided to post there for some help with a 10 gallon tank my daughter bought and could not keep fish alive in, despite her and her mom's best efforts. I mean, they filled the tank with tap water, let it sit for 24 hours, then through some fish in...what possibly could go wrong??...her mom changed out the filter media religiously as soon as it became "dirty" so we just couldn't figure out what was wrong :hmm3grin2orange:

Well, I like to think I've come a little ways as far as fish knowledge goes in the year I've been here, and it's all thanks to you guys' and girls' help and advice. I really enjoy visiting the AC every day just to see what you guys are up to, to learn, and to grow. I've made some great friends here, and I hope to make even more in the future.

Thanks Aquatic Community for all you've done for me and the countless others who have come here for the help/advice/criticisms/opinions you've given, as well as the many laughs. You are a great bunch of guys and gals, and I'm proud to call myself part of your family.

Well, I'm not sure if I posted about being a nuisance for 2 years here on the AC, it's probably out there somewhere

But I guess it's a moot subject now, because today marks my THIRD year anniversary as a member here at the Aquatic Community.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy keeping company with you guys and gals...I have made some very good, close friends here in the last few years, and although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting most of you in person, I feel great love and respect for each and every one of you...I feel like I'm part of your family, and you of mine.

I have learned how to properly keep healthy, prosperous fish tanks here, but I've also had alot of fun just hanging out with all of you. Through thick and thin, fish-wise or not, the hope, prayers, and thoughts of many here have helped me through some difficult times, I'll be forever grateful for that.

I look through my "Friends" list under my profile, and find that I have missed a great deal of people who no longer visit the AC for whatever reason, and it saddens me to not hear from them much anymore..but there's a core circle of you who have stuck with me for the entire 3 years, and for that, I thank you

Not to mention all of the new friends I've made recently...what a great group of people, buy a tank, let the filter run, throw in fish, and watch them die...just like I did!!!...thanks to some of you for showing how I started out, without a clue what I was doing, so that I know I wasn't the only one! (or have to admit it) :hmm3grin2orange:

edit: oops, wait - it's 4 tanks, right? I forgot about the 29g. So, a 5g, a 10g, 40B, and the 29g. Well 5 isn't too much either.
