can i keep a red dwarf gourami with siamese fighter???
That would not be a good idea..gouramis look similar to bettas and the male bettas will attack the gourami. Its best not to keep bettas with any fish that are similar to them.

its that i have 2 tanks 1 is 10 gallon and other is 20 and i have 1 blue gourami and one red both dwarf they fight when there kept together so i had to seperate them but i realy want a siamese fighter gutted that both tank have gouramis
If you really want a betta in your tank you could put in a divider on part of the tank that way you could have both the betta and gourami but they would not be able to hurt each other. This is the only way I can think of where both fish would be safe.( when I say divider I dont mean the little containers that hang on the side of the tank I mean the dividers that actually divide the tank)

I had a betta in my community tank (w/ a gourami among other things). Recently the betta died. He was never really out of his area and never seemed happy. I'm now a believer that bettas should be kept by themselves. If I would have noticed some signs sooner, I may have been able to seperate him before I lost him. You may be ok mixing it with one dwarf gourami, but you'd have to be prepared to watch both fish constantly and seperate if needed.
I also had two dwarf gouramis in my tank and I had to take one of them back to PetSmart because it was constantly being picked on and I didn't want to lose another fish, so I understand your desire to seperate them.
In summary, you may be trading one problem for another by moving one gourami in with the betta. If you do it, I'd pick the one that is being picked on since the other is likely more dominant and may pick on the betta.
The divider may be your best solution. Good luck.

surely can i have both in one tank
I going to something similar.
I created a 20g community tank with the following:
1 male betta
1 female betta (waiting to get it)
2 dwarf gouramis (1 red flame and 1 solid blue)
11 tetras (glo lite and neon blue)
4 red eye tetras.
What I did? First the tank was already cycled by the gouramis. then I took everybody out. I changed the position of the plants and introduced new decoration.
Then, I introduced all the fish listed above. That way I'm avoiding territory fights. So far I haven't have any fighting problems.
Contrary to the popular believe, bettas might not be keep by themselves. There's plenty of tank mattes for them.
Good luck with that.
Yes there are many tank mates for bettas but the real problem is which ones will he tolerate..some bettas will never accept any tank mates and some never show any aggresion towards them at all. But this depends on the betta and from my experience out of all the male bettas I have had none of them made good community fish. Or they were fine for about a month then tore up every fish in the tank..so now I dont even bother trying it.
Oh and lsam be careful with the male and female betta being in the same tank it tends to put a lot of stress on the female(if shes dark colored watch for horizontal stripes). I personally would not put them together except for breeding perposes but since you already have decided to do it just please watch them closely.

I don't think you should. Their would be a dead Gourami in a matter of days.

that is not strictly true
i have both in my community tank with other varieties of gourami big and dwarfs, plus angels
and i have not had any problems with the 2, i think that it depends on the tank eg water conditions etc
also what other fish there are in the tank
my thought is that if there is no agression in the tank in the first place then why not,
