About a week ago my male tetras starting showing to each other, flaring their fins out and circling each other. Today the males are chasing females around and when they have one in a corner they defend her from any other males that come close. Then they shimmy next to each other over a piece of bogwood. I cant see any eggs and the female doesnt look larger like she might be carrying eggs. Any info would be great..
To be honest i dont expect any fry to survive because i dont think the other occupants of the tank would let that happen.. But if they did then woohoo!

what about an AC link ? :D
http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/fish/congotetra2.php

This other links might help
http://www.aquarticles.com/articles/breeding/Gallo_Congo_Tetra.html
http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/pfk/pages/show_article.php?article_id=270
http://animal-world.com/encyclo/fresh/characins/CongoTetra.php

(IMHO, I think the first "other" link is the best caus it seems to contain alot of information but still you might want to have a look a bit everywhere
