Hey guys,

We ahve three super large pots which act as ponds, all are desnely planted with live waterplants and a few years ago we added three shubunkens to each pot. Well two pots multiplied and multiplied and multiplied. Its winter now and the fish sit at the surface of the ponds, sort of hibernating. This is the only time we even have a chance at catching any, othertimes we'd have to drain the pot, remove the plants and then catch the shubunkens whne theirs only an inch or so water.

What i was wondering, is would it be okay to move a couple of the fish to a tank? Or would the shock be too much for them?

Thanks
Emma

You can move the to a tank but you would have to change the conditions gradually.

You can't just move them to a tank directly.

Whats the temp in the pond and in the tank?

Best thing to do is just fill the tank with water from the pond.
