Hi, i am very interested in clams and would like to get one. I have a 20 gal tall reef tank with 2 12" 12k white truelumen pro strips, 2 12"" actinic blue truelumen pro strips and 1 24" marine fusion truelumen pro strips. I would like to know if a clam is apossibility for me

The more common clams that are kept in the hobby (Derasa, Maxima, and Sqamosa clams) will certainly outgrowth a 20 gallon tank in time.

One thing to keep in mind if you do find a suitable sized clam, is that they will need good and stable levels of Calcium, Magnesium and Alkalinity. As they consume a lot of these elements out of the water, you would more than likely have to be dosing supplements once or maybe twice a day to maintain the water parameters.
