Ive got a lone rummy nose that seems too be copying one of my neons every move and following him/her around the tank constantly
the neons is a rather large one quite plump id say
why do you think he is doing this? does it want to mate perhaps?

All tetra's are schooling fish but as you will notice over time that schooling isn't always that pretty tight swimming together that you see in ocean fish that school together...however rummy noses are very tight schoolers (probably the only ones that always stay together) they form a tight school when swimming around the tank and very rarely break off from each other... I think this rummy nose is following his instinct and trying to find a school it can swim with ;) If room permits it I would get more rummy noses so he is not so lonely ..

Yes they are schooling fish so they should follow each other. I suggest you get red-eyed tetras and some red phantom tetras.
