I've had this betta for about a year or so. when i first got him, i put him in a half gallon(i think) glass bowl. He lived in there for a while, kind of looking lonely. So i decided to try to put him into my 46 gal. with gouramis, bala sharks, and clown loaches(dont ask why). but suprisingly, he did great. Noone even payed attiontion to him.

So now he has been living in there for a few months. I went to the store to see what the store to look around, and somhow got talked into buying a leaporinus. it seemed peaceful enough. Two days later, I came home and found my betta finnless!!!!:ssuprised: he had less fins than a female betta!!.

So now he is currently in the betta bowl ...getting better i hope...

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Pretty inevitable though with that stocking.

If you got a leporinus you will need to get a bigger tank. No way a 46 gallon is large enough.
