Disaster!!

I was so excited to get the celestial pearl danio's, now less than 48 hours later I am deeply depressed. I woke this morning to find 4 of my babies dead!! All 6 were thin and I noticed last night that 3-43 were clamping their fins, by morning they had expired. I have ordered meds and 6 more fish

How long did you acclimate them to your tank?

Oh nooooo!! So sorry for your loss... especially as Celestial's are quite hardy little fish. Are you sure all the water parameters are correct in the tank and you were feeding them correctly? Don't mean to be intrusive just thought it might be an idea to look at the cause before buying more...

Again sorry you lost them... I know from your previous post how happy you were at getting them

They were in bad shape when I got them, very thin and skittish. They were in a new 10 gal with a well cycled sponge filter, water quality excellent, ph 7, GH-KH 79 ppm, temp 76 F, 2 large clumps of java moss for them to hide and hopefully spawn in. Feeding on live bbs, microworms, and NLS flake. I believe it was internal parasites
I will treat the next batch as soon as they arrive. I will have waited 4 months to get these, I will not give up!!!

I know how much you were looking for this fish and perhaps they next batch will be healtier. There isn't much you can do when they arrive ill and are stressed out already.

Since they are coming from the same source I am going to dose antibiotic just to be sure

I posted a link that had a ton of fish to buy online and the galaxy is one that they carry. I'll go see if I can find it.

I've never bought fish anywhere on line but this place has a huge selection. I do buy all my wood from them as well as other stuff and they've been great to work with.

I also will be placing an order with them because by the time I drive 2 hours to get fish, it costs no more than just ordering them.
