Well, I have come to the opinion that Red Headed Gobies are just hard to keep alive. I lost one a few months ago and I lost another one this week. Both times, the fish just up and croaked. No signs of distress, no disease symptoms, and my water quality has been dead on.

If I choose to add another fish, I think I will try something else next time. Right now I just have my pair of O. Clowns and my cleaner shrimp in my 12G. That is a decent load anyway, so I will probably just go with that for a while.

I guess my Dad was right, stay away from redheads!:c12:

Here is a pic. of the dude I just lost (in case you don't know what one looks like). This is the pic. that I entered in the Oct. photo competition:

sorry to hear that, hes a really awesome and colorful fish.

EDIT- if you want to add another fish to replace him, you can try a clown goby or a firefish

A[Only Registered Users Can See Links.] to hear that Coach, he sure was a beauty!! :scry:

I understand how you feel, because I feel the same way about copperband butterflies. I've had two. One lived for one week, and the other about 6 months....

Sorry again, Coach!
