View Full Version : Bettay has cloudy eye

5 gallon tank
Filter (45gph)
Heater (unplugged for summer, 80-82 degrees)
1 male betta ( had him since Sept 2012)
API Master test kit pH: 7.4 Ammonia: 0 - way below the next color at .25ppm
Nitrate: 5-20 PPM
Water changes (treated with Prime) 25%-33%/week
Charcoal removed from filter, cartridge cleaned every 2-3 weeks in tank water
Gravel vacuumed 1x/week
Fed 6 pellets x2/day 6 days/week (New Life Spectrum Betta Formula)

He is active and eats well. I'm not sure if he's having any visual problems, although sometimes he has difficulty finding each pellet (I feed 1 @a time), but that might be because the pellets float over his head so they are out of his files of vision. Sorry for the long message, but any help you can offer would be much appreciated. Pls see pics below...will post in next entry...
