The parents WILL eat the eggs, be careful. Trust me, I experienced it first hands just a few weeks ago. If you can, separate the eggs to another tank and add methylene blue to stave off the large potential for fungal infection in the eggs.

VERY carefully using a razor blade. The eggs are very sticky, they'll stick right to it.

Congratulations on your eggs! My Cory laid eggs the other day, but alas, no mate to fertilze them. It sure was exciting though... Good luck, and keep us up with your progress!

ditto with GM, use methelyne blue or a anti-fungal med so they dont get fungified

congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol, i make up weird words all of the time.

along with oscars i used to breed plecos and cory's and i had a store who paid awesome price for my fry. one time i had a huge batch of albino cory fry, and they were laid on a java fern leaf. i only had a spare 20g hex (when i got rid of fish in 2005 i had to sell my tanks back then, and i had alot) and in the 20g hex i had a small really beat up jack dempsey that was really small and lethergic. i figured since i already had anti-fungal meds in it the eggs would be fine.

20 minutes later, a eggless plant and a happy JD

good luck with the eggs mitcore!
