Northern Purple Spotted Gudgeon

I've always had my eye out for one of these
and I finally got him
Hes about 5inches long and is like a miniature Snakehead
He's brilliant!
He's by himself now
But I wish to get a few more
The only information on tank requirements I've read is that they do not require a large tank
So does anyone know how many i can keep in a 20 gal?

I have 2...they get large and can be aggressive towards other fish, especially smaller than them. Mine are in a 90 gal. and over 7" ech, i have two males :(

I made the mistake of hand feeding them when I first got them, only a couple inches long, and now at their size they still want me to stick my fingers in and hold the food for them...they have teeth. lol
Beautiful and by far my fav in the tank...shhhhh don't tell though lol...

But def need a bigger tank than a 20. Mine started out in a 29, hten 55, and now a 90. They need room to grow like any other fish.
