for you people that are having a hard time with blury fish pictures. if your cammera has it push the button down halfway and it will kinda prep for the picture then you can snap the shot when the fish is at the right angle and as long as he isn't swimming full speed it should be clean!

not 100% sure on that for fish but it worked for me at the xgames a few years ago :)

I would take a picture of mine but all of mine are feeders sadly so they aren't very colorful.

Got 2 new Females last evening... In fact, on the picture, there's 4 of them (out of 7, soon 8)... The 2 tuxedo/leopard in the back are the 2 new one... The one feeding is one of the female I raised from fry and the little female on the lower part of the picture is one of the 3 I "saved" from evil Petcetera last week...

Not into guppies. Or betta's or zebra danios or gourami's or platies or molly's or goldfish.

Might be adding more to that list one day. LOL

HUmmm... in the last picture... is it an Angel that we see beside the guppy ? .... If it is, then you might want to consider be careful having theses 2.... Angel tend to ... "eat?" Guppy since they are not fast swimmer... (tetra are suposed to be ok but Guppy... bit risky)... well, IMHO, i wouldn't do it cauz I wouldn't want to loose one (or more) guppy.... :P

i know they eat guppy but this angel is still to small to eat adult guppies, when the angel starts getting bigger and looks like he could eat them, i'll move my guppies over to the 10g

I was VERY excited with my first fry of guppies.
I even put them in a separate tank as to not get eaten
Now................. 3 months later I'm gonna be a GRANNY. the babies are having babies?!?!?!?!?!?

:c11:

I would like some more info regarding the bloodlines and if there is something as a "pure breed" guppie.

Enjoy!!!

if you got your guppy from your LFS there is no chance of you getting pure breed (pure breed cost alot more than the one you get from LFS) you can get pure breed from pro breeder, if you want 2 breed your own pure strain you have to be really patient and keep a record of every breed, only to breed them with their mum, bro, sis, dad any with their genes this is alot of work!!!but the achievment is great.
you also need alot of room and the right quipment to do this (it cost alot of money) so if you are planning to breed pure strain be equip and good luck you will need it :wink2:
