I sure hope that all the members here from Calgary and the southern Alberta area are safe and dry after all the flooding the past two days

I can't even imagine how much rain could cause lead to that much water

I too hope all our Western members are safe and their homes are OK.
I've seen the images on TV and MSN and I can honestly say, WOW. Keep the faith people.

That was just unbelievable! :( We were in Calgary back in April...and I just can't imagine it being underwater like that...

I hear they're closing the lower trails and footpaths around here too...since we're expecting the river to rise due to flooding in Alberta...however, barring a local deluge we should be okay *keepingfingerscrossed*

Videos and pictures of the flooding are hard to watch. My thoughts and prays go out to all those who are dealing with the aftermath and those that are still in the path of the flood waters.

Yikes! It's pretty bad up there. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys to the North. Hope the damage is at a minimum and everyone is safe from here on out.

My family has a lot of friends in the area there, I'll have to check in with them to see how they all fared.

That's not exactly one of the places you'd expect flooding. Yeah, sorry to hear that for the people over there.

First it's Germany and now Canada.. I'm sure India will be hit again soon as well. :scry:
