Well today i ended up going to a bigger lfs than the other ones around. I finallygot a 40g breeder tank for my turtles!:19: Ill be setting it up on friday night..I also picked up some meal worms and food for my turtles.

I was wondering if mealworms were okay to feed to my fish?

congrats on the tank. are you actually going to be breeding your turtles or you just liked that tank???

also i think that you could feed meal worms to your fish IF they have teeth and can chew it. So you could prob. feed it to like oscars, pacus, and fish like that.
EDIT- don't forget that mealworms are pretty hard.

Larger cichlids and such are fine with mealworms.

I was hoping mainly the firemouth would eat it, would he? What about the convict?

Ah, there dead and freeze dried. I would break apart into smaller pieces for him and try that, you should have gotten a little variety of frozen why you were there, fish love a variety of frozen.
