Well today when I woke up i went to go see my oscar, as he was yesterday swimming all over the place. But i noticed he had like this little white thing very small white thing on his gill which appears to be peeling a little. Should i be concerned? And i couldnt grab a test kit the past weekend, as they were out. What could it possibly be? Hes active, not on the gravel gasping for air, hes always out and about looking happy. Should i be concerned?

Ok, what shall i do then? turn the temperature up?
I'd turn the temp up and add some salt. The heat helps speed up the life cycle of the parasite and the salt helps kill it. Temp at about 85 degrees, add salt per directions on the container.
You could also use Melafix to combat the infection.
