hi, do german rams live ok with black tetras? i am considering moving my 5 black tetras into my slightly smaller tank (185 lt), they are in a 260ltr at the mo, in the smaller tank is my 2 med angel fish, 2 german rams, 1 small knife fish, 2 young tiger loach, i am worried they might get harrassed by the rams (too big to be eaten for quite a while by the angels/knife), although the etras are fast i dont want chaos in the tank!

the tetras and rams probably will be fine, but what kind of knife is in the tank? the knife probably will out grow the tank and if its a clown knife the tetras will get eaten

The Rams and Tetras will be fine together but the Tetras may nip your Angels fins.

youre fine then, black ghosts are peaceful

the tetras shouldnt attack the angels, but in a rare case the angels will eat the tetra

yeah i have witnesses my nannies angel eating a very small neon tetra. I think this is because we always feed her angel little feeder guppies to eat. But they shouldn't get eaten if you have had them for a while and they are a fair size.

angels will eat tetras, rams won't harass tetras.

I don't think an Angel will eat a full grown Black Skirt Tetra.

they are black neon tetras not black skirt tetras, they are all doing great in the tank together.

Oh, my mistake, sorry. That does make a huge difference.
