snowflake can be kept in freshwater but should be kept in brackish water since they are very sensetive if kept in freshwater. the singel most important thing when keeping these fish are to keep their stress levels low. This is done by decorating the tank with a lot of hiding places among the bottom of the tank. Fish that are stressed don't eat as they should and usually die after a few months.

feed them shrimp and fish meat.

They will catch and eat smaller fish. They might seem like clumpsy hunter when you observe them during the they but you will none the less soon start noticing small fish go missing.

You create brackish water by adding aquarium salt to the tank- The amount depends on what other fish you want to keep.

I actually don't know. My guess is that it depends on which salinity you are going to keep in it.
