Meet my new pup! I'm going to pick him up this evening when my hubby gets home.

I'm currently making a possible name list, and I'd like to hear what your suggestions are. Please note that I do not want any Spanish names. I just don't think it's very original.

Here is my current list:

Martin
Presley
Ceasar
Ash
Quincy
Quinton
Drake

In no particular order. I won't know what to name him until I meet him of course, but right now I am leaning towards Quincy. All right guys, help me out!

Awe, what a cutie pie. I've heard that it's best to name dogs one syllable names. Like Duke or Spot, or something similar because it's easier for them to click with one syllable. Now keep in mind, this little tidbit is coming to you from someone who named her dog Margaret :o)
I like Quincy. But for such a little guy Ceasar would be cute.
Have fun

You'd want something easy to yell and not confused with other sounds.

How about Dirk?

Thanks for the suggestions!

Dirk is cute, but I'm thinking something even cuter!

I've added Prince, and Cooper to the list.

Prince? That's something for a German shepherd. Err...Will?

Huh?? Lol, a German Sheperd! He can't be my little Chi Prince??? ;)

Think cutsie, TD. Cutsie, or something lofty sounding.

That name actually works for quite a few animals. I second Dave!

Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

No, LH. This didn't come from my mother-in-law. :)

I LOVE that cartoon! My husband and I reference that ALLL THE TIME!

So, I believe I've come to a decision..... Pippen, Pip for short, like from Great Expectations.

Pip is sweet. I'm delighted you didn't choose something too naff like "Petal" or "Fairy", but disappointed you now don't have a dog named ALAN!
