I have a male and a female paradise gourami in my tank, and now that summer has come along, I think the male wants to breed maybe due to the slight increase in temperature? He keeps changing his colors to be very bright and flares out all his fins when the female is near. However, the female always quickly swims away and keeps "rejecting" him. I read that they usually make a bubble nest before breeding but he hasn't done that yet at all. So, I guess my question is, is there anyway to help encourage him to make the bubbles or anyway to make the female like him more? haha. Poor guy...
