This might sound dumb, but i read convicts were aggressive and so were africans so i thougth maybe they could hold their own together..Anyways I was wondering if a convict cichlid could go with an african cichlid..

At first i was going for a firemouth but i dont like their bumps on their "foreheads" and their huge gills..

Then i thought about severumbs, but they get a little too large so now im stuck. Any ideas anywone? This is for my 25g.

definitely not mbuna, but maybe a firemouth would work with lots of territory

don't mix a convict with an mbuna. They require very different water parameters and they will mix well aggresion wise.

Are you looking fro ideas for you 25g? what kind of fish are you leaning towards?

what sex is yours? females can even go in community tanks with danios and cory's etc., but males would need a cichlid only tank
