View Full Version : Fin Rot? Not sure..

My male angel's fins have been getting these weird white patterns. All of his fins have lost some of the detail on the ends as if it were fin rot, but I'm not sure exactly what it is. You can see clearly on his top fin there is white on the tip, and on his tail there are unusual white patterns.

The other angel in the tank is perfectly fine, and I don't know what the water params are yet. I will take it into work tomorrow to test. If you have a diagnosis please let me know, I can't stand the thought of losing one of my babies :(

In the meantime, a large water change wouldn't hurt. Clean water is often the best medicine for fish, and when a fish is showing signs of stress or illness it is important to keep the water as pristine as possible.
