Feeding my Fry

well erm i have some platy fry which are 2 weeks old and so far i've jus fed them crushed flake which is doing jus fine but for a treat i thought i've use some live foods, so i bought some brine shrimp and these like red waterfleas..

they are completely red and about 2mm long.

Has anyway else fed these water flea things and are they ok?

They are properly known as Daphnia and are a great source of food for your fry. if you are planning on trying to keep the culture alive they will need to be fed green water or yeast.

but my platty babies eat the slim off my plants and the crushed flake
