I do really like it. I was nervous when I first bought the waterfall piece, but I think the plants, rocks and stuff really brought it together more.

i was just looking at it again, and one thing that would look cool is if you got some more of the same plants that are in the middle back, and placed them in the back right so it hides the filter intake

Looks much better Megean, very well done! :19:

Maybe one day you could look into getting a small submersible LED to accent the waterfall or plants, especially at night.

Thanks everyone! :) I had time to stare at the tank and think about it last night, I will definitely be putting more plants in there. Especially around the back righthand corner :) I'll update a pic here, when I do. Thanks again!

I bought some more plants when I went out to petsmart earlier. I bought 2 large ones and 3 small. It doesn't look much different, but I think the plants look thicker....and altogether just more dense. The only thing that looks real different is that I put a tall plant in front of the filter tube, like suggested. I'll take some pics and post them this evening. :)

Lol I showed my dad (since the 29 gallon was his when I was younger)....we have 2 very different styles of decorating. He's more into the novelty things like the little bubble castles, etc. lol He says "Well it looks alright, but are you sure you got enough room to put fish in there?? Or are you just gonna put one in? Hahahahaha!" lol He likes to be funny. :)

Show him some of the pics of my 55g. Then sees what he says when you tell them there are over 100 guppies (including fry), over 500 cherry shrimp, 4 plecos, 8 otos, 9 Neon Tetras, 10 Knife Livebearers, and close to 50 species of plants.

I've always said plants throw off the stocking limits. Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 18 ppm pH 7.2 temp 78 F and last WC 5 days ago due to EI dosing.

looks awesome Meg, I think that the rocks at the bottom of the waterfall and your choice of substrate make it all flow really well. Really look fwd to seening pics of the tank with fish. What are you going to stock it with?

I usually don't like the plastic decorations, I think they make the tank look cheap. But this looks great, just the right mix of natural plant's and rocks to bring it together. Truly inspiring. Kudo's
